Two French nationals rescued by Russian icebreaker in the Arctic

On the 3rdof September at 21:45 Russian icebreaker "Admiral Makarov" in position 82˚10,9’ N; 171˚ 02,6’W removed two French nationals from the France-flagged catamaran stuck in the ice on the Northern Sea Route. Both the men and their stricken vessel were taken on board the icebreaker which proceeded to Pevek.
