Violation of the navigation rules on the NSR

According to the NSR Administration data placed on its web page, total amount of recorded violations in the NSR waters during 9 months of 2017 is 81 cases. Among them 26 of violation cases were done by foreign vessels and 55 by Russian ones. The most common breach is “Violation of requirements for navigation depending on type of ice conditions”: 40 cases were recorded, among them 24 were done by Russian vessels and 16 – by foreign ones. There are also 9 non-compliant vessels that entered the NSR waters without the Permit. The NSR Administration is continuously monitoring compliance with the navigation rules on the NSR.
